Discovery

Weeks 1–2

We listen before we draw. How you use a room at seven in the morning, what you have collected, what you would never part with, what the site does with light across the day. The brief that comes out of this is usually not the brief you arrived with — and it is the one worth building.

Concept Design

Weeks 3–5

The spatial narrative takes shape: how the plan sequences, where the eye lands, what the room is made of. You receive a material palette you can hold, early layouts, and a clear visual language for the project. This is the stage where the big decisions are cheap.

Design Development

Weeks 6–10

Everything is resolved and drawn. Dimensioned plans, elevations, sections, joinery and furniture details, specification sheets, and photorealistic visualisations of each key space. Nothing goes to site as a suggestion.

Execution

Programme-dependent

Build management with contractors and craftspeople we know. Site visits against the drawing set, sequencing, and the ordinary daily work of catching a discrepancy before it becomes a defect. Where the work is remote, coordination runs on a fixed reporting rhythm.

Handover

Final 2 weeks

Styling, final placement, photography, and the walkthrough where the house stops being a project. You get the full drawing set and specification archive — so that whoever touches the space in ten years knows exactly what is behind the wall.
